Harry Triguboff recently said “its too hard to build in Sydney, we need to change the way we run the place.”

At the UDIA NSW Western Sydney luncheon last week, we again advocated for one decision maker in Western Sydney with the power to drive outcomes in and for the West.

Western Sydney is front and centre in all discussions, strategies and planning, but with its many opportunities it also has its challenges and complexities.

One thing is certain, we need to get things moving in Western Sydney and make no mistake, there is an urgency around this. An urgency with construction, an urgency with infrastructure and an urgency with planning.

It was great to hear more about the plan for Western Sydney from Chris Hanger CEO of the Greater Cities Commission and the work of the GCC, including the critical role they will play to unlock the potential of the six cities region, particularly The Western Parkland City.
